The Bru Van Kieu ethnic minority has the oldest origins in the Truong Son region and possesses a unique cultural life. They were discovered in caves and relocated to a vast valley near streams to settle and thrive.

This is a tourism product that combines nature exploration with an understanding of the indigenous culture of the Bru – Van Kieu ethnic group in the area.

Day 1:

8:00 am: Pick up guests at Phong Nha Town. Transfer to Bong Lai village, the starting point for an amazing 2-day 1-night journey to explore nature and discover the cultural identity of the Bru – Van Kieu ethnic group.

Trekking 8km into Rao Con village. The route features a diverse vegetation changing with altitude. Walking along the hillside, you’ll encounter pristine green forests adorned with colorful wildflowers. The air transitions from the warmth of the sun to a refreshing coolness. Along the trekking path, you can cool off in the streams running alongside.

11:30 am: Have lunch at the village. Enjoy local dishes prepared by the villagers themselves

1:30 pm: Afternoon activities

Visit the village, learn about the culture of the Bru – Vân Kiều ethnic group.

Take a waterfall bath and try your hand at fishing with nets.

Cook together with the local villagers.

Have dinner and rest at the village.

Day 2:

7:30 am: Breakfast at the village.

8:00 am: Trek 6km to enjoy the fresh air along the mountain trail.

Stop along the way the car pick up to visit the Botanic Garden and Paradise cave.

10:00am : Botanic Garden

The Botanic Garden is a recommended stop on a gorgeous scenic drive through Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, as it’s a great way to experience the park’s natural beauty on your own.

Located on the Road No.20 Quyet Thang, approximately 12 km from the Phong Nha Tourism Center. Botanical Garden is a natural forest with an area of over 40 ha and 500 plant species within their diverse ecosystems. The garden is home to Gio (Wind) Waterfall, Vang Anh Lake, a prototype exhibition house, a propagation section, and pristine forest patches. Its diverse flora provides a rich habitat for various species of birds and mammals.

12:00am : Have a luch in a local restaurant.

1:30pm: Paradise cave

you will get to the Paradise bus station. From there, you will trek in the jungle for about 40 minutes to get to the mouth of Paradise Cave.

After walking up, you may be tired, you can take a short break in the waiting area (cool down) and then enter Paradise Cave.

You have around an hour to discover the beauty of the first kilometer of the cave with your tour guide’s fascinating explanations. When you finish exploring the cave, you will take a buggy back to the bus station.

4:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Drop off guests at Phong Nha Town, concluding the journey of exploring nature and discovering the cultural identity of the Bru – Van Kieu ethnic group
